How do I start a fundraiser?+
Select Start a Fundraiser, create your account or sign in, then enter your organization, program, fundraiser name, schedule, payout details, branding, and optional program divisions. Once saved, you can invite participants and other admins.
How does Clear the Calendar™ work?+
Each participant receives a personal 31-day calendar. Supporters choose one or more available days and sponsor the matching dollar amount. Day 1 is $1, Day 15 is $15, and Day 31 is $31. A fully cleared calendar raises $496 in sponsored amounts.
What is Clear the Calendar™?+
Clear the Calendar™ is an online fundraising platform for teams, schools, groups, and organizations. It combines personal 31-day fundraising calendars with online sponsorships, participant progress, organizer tools, and secure payment processing.
Do we have to sell products?+
No. Clear the Calendar™ is designed to remove product sales, inventory, order tracking, and delivery from the fundraising process.
Program Admins
What can an admin manage?+
Admins can manage fundraiser settings, branding, participants, optional divisions or levels, invitations, progress, leaderboards, donations, payout setup, and fundraiser performance from the admin dashboard.
Do I need a separate admin account?+
No. Your Clear the Calendar™ account can have different access depending on the fundraiser. The same person can be a participant or parent in one fundraiser and an admin for another fundraiser they create or are invited to manage.
Can one account manage more than one fundraiser?+
Yes. One account can create or manage multiple fundraisers. Access is assigned by fundraiser, so switching fundraisers changes the dashboard data, roster, branding, statistics, and management settings shown on screen.
Are divisions or levels required?+
No. Divisions are optional. Programs can create labels such as High School, Middle School, Varsity, JV, Black, Red, or any other structure that fits their organization. If no divisions are configured, participants are not asked to select one.
Can I invite another admin?+
Yes. Admin access can be shared with other authorized leaders for the fundraiser so multiple people can help manage the campaign.
Participants & Parents
How does a participant join?+
Use the fundraiser invite link from your program. Enter the participant information, choose a division or level if the program uses one, and sign in or create a Clear the Calendar™ account. The personal calendar is then created automatically.
Can a parent manage more than one participant?+
Yes. A parent or guardian account can be connected to multiple participant calendars. If those participants belong to different fundraisers, the account page lets you switch between fundraisers.
Can parents or participants create their own fundraiser?+
Yes. Any signed-in user can start a new fundraiser. Creating a new fundraiser gives that user admin access to the fundraiser they create without changing their participant or parent access to existing fundraisers.
Can participant information be updated?+
Yes. Participant profile details can be updated from the account page, including profile photo, name, division or level, grade, and jersey number when applicable.
Supporters & Donations
How do I support a participant?+
Open the participant's public calendar, select one or more available days, enter your information, and complete secure checkout. Claimed days update after successful payment.
Can I leave a message?+
Yes. Supporters can leave a message during the donation experience, and that message can appear in the participant's sponsorship history.
What happens after I donate?+
You receive a payment confirmation showing the participant, sponsored days, and amount paid. The participant calendar, public fundraiser page, and admin reporting update to reflect the completed sponsorship.
Payments & Payouts
How are payments processed?+
Online payments are processed securely through Stripe. The sponsored amount and platform/payment processing amounts are shown separately during checkout and on the payment confirmation.
Does the program receive the full sponsored amount?+
Yes. The program receives the full sponsored day amount. Platform and payment processing costs are paid separately by the supporter rather than being deducted from the sponsored amount.
How does Clear the Calendar™ make money if the program receives 100% of the sponsored amount?+
Supporters pay the sponsored amount plus a small platform fee and payment processing fee at checkout. That allows the program to receive the full sponsored day amount while Clear the Calendar™ covers the technology, payment, and platform costs separately.
What if our organization needs to be paid by check?+
Fundraisers can use the payout method approved for their organization. Where check payout is selected, supporters can still make online payments and the fundraiser can be remitted according to the configured payout workflow.
