The turning point

Then participation levels off.

The fundraiser is working, but not every player is moving at the same pace. Instead of guessing or hunting, the organizers can see exactly where participation stands.

Some calendars are almost there. Others are in progress. A group of players still has not started. That becomes the next opportunity.

Mid-fundraiser adjustment

The coaches add an incentive. The team responds.

The incentive was not part of the original launch. The organizers add it after seeing participation begin to flatten—giving every player a reason to finish.

Final results

The $10,000 goal becomes $15,701.

The program does not need every player to clear a calendar. It needs enough participants to engage, enough visibility to know where the opportunity is, and a system that keeps strong fundraisers moving.

They raise $15,701. The program keeps $15,701.

Clear the Calendar does not deduct a percentage from the sponsored calendar amount. The economics stay simple for the organizer: the amount supporters sponsor is the amount credited to the program.

Basketball fundraiser FAQ

Questions coaches and programs ask.

How much can a basketball team raise with a calendar fundraiser?

A fully cleared 31-day calendar represents $496. A 50-player program needs only 21 cleared calendars to pass $10,000, and 25 cleared calendars represent $12,400 before partial calendars or Calendar #2 activity are added.

Can high school and middle school teams fundraise together?

Yes. Clear the Calendar can organize multiple divisions inside one fundraiser so a full basketball program can work toward a shared goal while each participant keeps an individual calendar and progress record.

What happens when a player clears all 31 days?

A participant who clears Calendar #1 can continue into Calendar #2, creating additional fundraising capacity for highly engaged participants.

Can coaches track which players are participating?

Yes. Organizer dashboards show participant progress, fundraising totals, calendar completion, momentum, donations, and leaderboard performance so coaches can see where follow-up may help.

Can a team add an incentive after the fundraiser starts?

Yes. Organizers can create or update participant incentives during the fundraiser, and the incentive appears inside the participant experience to help create another reason to keep clearing days.

How much of the sponsored calendar amount does the program keep?

The program keeps 100% of the sponsored calendar amount raised through Clear the Calendar.
